100 word story
Once upon a time, a very young boy went to a football game with his tall father. They sat in seats close to the 50-yard line. Jimmy wanted to go get some food because he was extremely hungry; so the kid wandered through the Heinz field concession stands. Bob started looking around. The man walked everywhere, yet couldn’t find the 4 year old. The two ran In the same direction, therefore, it would be unlikely for one to find the other in the big mess of people trying as bad as the toddler to get where he wanted. Sadly, he was gone forever…

button description
Many years ago, I was part of a young boy’s sailor costume. He was at the beach one day, and he tore his costume off to go swimming. I fell into the ocean, and was left there for many years to erode down to the size of a smooth cracker. One family found me at a different beach many years later, and a man used me for his suit jacket. His boss didn’t like the anchor on me, so I had to be sold at a garage sale.
One man liked my color, which was that of coal, or as far as they had seen, charcoal. He also liked how I was smooth, so he too used me for his suit jacket. Where he worked wasn’t so formal, and his boss liked the anchor on me, so he wanted to get my brothers to use for his suit. When he dropped me on his wooden desk one day, I made a sort of high-pitched “clank”. He picked me up and felt me… I was made of plastic, and was as hard as anything plastic could be…

4 character story
Once, there was a boy that went to Baltimore High School. He was taller than most of the people there, but he was also fat for his height. Most people assumed he was smart, but he mostly cheated. He was James; a tall, fat, cheating tenth grader. James was a nice person, but he was an easy target for bullying, and he was weak, so some abusive bullies bullied him. They teased him and some days hit him for insulting back.
James was fed up with being bullied and picked on about his weight, so he got a job and hired a personal trainer. He ran for 2 hours a day, and lifted weights a little. After 2 months of training, he wasn’t fat anymore and was already tall so he was no longer a target for bullying. He still cheated, but people didn’t catch on and just thought he was a good student.
James had played baseball when he was younger, but had gained too much weight to play again for a while. He thought that he had lost a lot of weight, but could lose more. So James hired a personal trainer again, after getting a second job. His exercising was going well, but he fainted shortly after beginning again, and had to go to the hospital.
Doctors found that there was a hole in James’ heart, and it couldn’t pump enough blood fast enough, so he fainted. After waking up, and feeling a bit lightheaded, but okay, he thought about getting back to training. When the doctor came in, though, he was not happy anymore. Doctors said he could die if his heart wasn’t fixed, and probably couldn’t play baseball even if it was. The famous Mets catcher had heard about James, and came to visit him in the hospital.
James was happy for a little while, but all of the ways to fix his heart were extremely dangerous, so he just stayed in the hospital. By a year’s time, he was most likely going to die eventually, until a Nobel Prize winning doctor thought of a new low-risk surgery that could fix James’ heart well enough for him to play a sport like baseball again. In 2 months of recovering, he was ready to play baseball and James lived happily ever after

election
im glad obama won...after i heard about the bradley effect and his lead in the polls shrink i was doubtful, but i went to bed and msnbc had him far in the lead. it seemed like he really took control of the northeast and west coast. it was a really historical night... it could be a very long time before another black president is elected so..
